Search Engine Wars Continue with Google, Bing Changes; Blekko Still Around
INTERNET - While search engine giants Google and Bing (which now supplies results for Yahoo) are making changes in the public spotlight, new search engines like Blekko are innovating on the sidelines, slowly growing their followers.
As Google grew in the beginning (after Yahoo turned down an offer to sell Google for around $1 million), they relied on geeks and techno-savvy people to spread the word. And spread the word they did, allowing Google to quickly gain (and maintain) search engine market share - a very lucrative business.
WebProNews recently reported on a lot of the changes going on with the search engine giants this week, as Q4 approaches, which is typically a boom for many websites on the Internet.
