DOT steps up China program | Business, News, The Philippine Star | philstar.com

MANILA, Philippines - The marketing arm of the Department of Tourism said over the weekend it would continue to intensify its campaign in China to take advantage of the country’s huge traveling population, which could soon be the number one source for Philippine tourism.

Tourism Promotions Board officer-in-charge Joselito Gregorio told The STAR the agency is strengthening its presence in China to attract more Chinese tourists to visit the Philippines.

“(We’re intensifying) in terms of promotion, digital marketing, even trade presentations, sales mission,” Gregorio said on the sidelines of the Travel Blog Exchange Asia-Pacific 2016 in Pasay City.
